Alabama high school football: USA TODAY Super 25 Week 10 rankings – Montgomery Advertiser

There is a new No. 1 in the latest USA TODAY Network Alabama Super 25 poll for the second consecutive week after Hoover defeated No. 1 Thompson 9-0 on the road to win the 7A-Region 3 championship. The game featured just two points in the second half.

The two new teams in the poll are Gardendale after knocking off Mountain Brook 29-28 to win the 6A-Region 5 championship, and Pleasant Grove.

The Super 25 is voted on by USA TODAY Network sportswriters Jacob Shames and Jerell Rushin. Teams receive 25 points for a first-place vote, 24 for second place and so on.
