There is never a dull moment in college football recruiting.
A top Auburn target at wide receiver was set to announce his commitment on July 2 but that is no longer the case. That was not the only news around Auburn on Tuesday, a baseball player has been invited to the collegiate training camp for the USA National team, volleyball announced their schedule for the 2022 season and the women’s basketball team signed an international recruit.

Four-star wide reciever no longer commiting on July 2

karmello English will no longer announce his commitment on July 2.
The four-star wide receiver from Phenix City, Alabama, had planned to announce his decision then but has decided to push it to a later date. The Tigers were seen as the favorite to land the in-state wide receiver with Kentucky and Michigan rounding out his top schools.
Joseph Gonzalez invited to Collegiate National Training Camp

Sophomore pitcher Joseph Gonzalez has been invited to the 2022 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp.
The camp will feature 48-50 of the top non-draft eligible players in college baseball. USA Baseball will then select a 26-man team to travel to the Netherlands for the Honkbalweek Haarlem tournament from July 9-16.
Gonzalez is the 11th Tiger to compete for the team. He led Auburn with seven wins and a 3.22 ERA as a sophomore.
Volleyball unveils 2022 schedule

It is time to start planning to watch Auburn volleyball. The Tigers announced their 2022 schedule on Tuesday and it is a good one.
They will open the season with a tournament in Atlanta on Aug. 26 and will play in tournaments in Birmingham and Jackson, Alabama before starting conference play.
As usual, Auburn will play every other SEC school once. They will open SEC play at Alabama in a two-match series on Sept. 24-25.
Womens Basketball adds Nigerian center

Women’s basketball has gone international to land their latest recruit. The Tigers signed center Akinbolawa Oyindamola on Tuesday.
Oyindamola is from Lagos, Nigeria and will be joining the team in August.
