Biden: ‘We know democracy is at risk’ | USA TODAY #Shorts

Days before election day, President Biden gave a warning to voters about the threats against democracy in Washington, D.C.

RELATED: Democracy in peril, rising political tension, and what we can do

Speaking at a train station just blocks from the U.S. Capitol, Biden reminded Americans that next week’s election will be the first since a violent mob stormed the seat of democracy on Jan. 6, 2021 – a horde that was “whipped up into a frenzy,” he said, by former President Donald Trump’s lies about the 2020 election.

“I wish I could say the assault on our democracy ended that day,” Biden said. “But I cannot.” Candidates are running for every level of office – for Congress, governor, attorney general, secretary of state – who refuse to commit to accepting the election results if they lose, Biden said.

“This is the path to chaos in America,” he said, standing in front of eight American flags. “It’s unprecedented. It’s unlawful. And it’s un-American. As I’ve said before, you can’t love your country only when you win.” Concerns about political violence have increased in advance of the Nov. 8 election and after an intruder attacked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul, with a hammer in their San Francisco home last Friday.

RCFE Continuing Education – Future Changes Coming Soon

Well, it is amazing what a few months can do to change an industry forever. In the past the worst thing Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) had to deal with is the seasonal flu and MRSA. Now after the Coronavirus has just about changed our country forever, it has spared no expense on turning the RCFE Industry upside down. Indeed, it may never be the same again.

RCFE Certification – Change Is Coming

As if the great State of California’s RCFE Certification wasn’t stringent enough, it’s about to get even harder. Why you ask? Well, you can probably figure that out without us explaining it to you, but for all of you who are not yet in the industry let’s spend a few moments to discuss it.

RCFE Administrator

You would think that after such a disaster in our industry like the coronavirus that there wouldn’t be much need for anymore residential care facilities for the elderly administrators. Well, it turns out that because these administrators are so important and will have even greater responsibility in the future, now is the perfect time to get your RCFE Administrator certificate.

The Future RCFE License Criteria

What’s new in the world of residential care facility for the elderly licensing? Well, after the coronavirus just about everything is new. Our industry is rapidly changing, many will not be able to keep up. It’s important to stay up on these changes, and there is opportunity for those industry participants who can. Those who fall behind will not be in business in the next year.

Has the RCFE License Changed Due to the CoronaVirus Pandemic?

As of the writing of this article in the second quarter of 2020, the answer to that question is: no. The RCFE License has not changed, but we can expect some of the requirements in the future will. Why you ask? Well, it is simple really. If you will recall the big MRSA scare, as this superbug changed the landscape of Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly by adding many additional mandates for bacteria control, the State of California did institute many new guidelines.
